- There is $5 Borrowing Fee for each book/title already found in our library. The borrowing period is three months.
- Purchasing Fees are set at $5 per tape or cd, with a maximum charge of $50 for any one textbook and a $30 maximum charge for any other type of singularly recorded material.
Textbooks and educational materials are always given priority.
How to Apply: Complete the RFTB application form which can printed from your home or office computer.
Request a Recording From Our Library: Master copies of all the books and materials we record are kept in our library for a number of years. Currently, we have nearly 1,000 titles in our library. These recordings can be borrowed or purchased. To request a title from our library, complete our library request form and fax or mail it to us. How do you know if we have a title you're looking for? All our titles are listed in the LOUIS database through the American Printing House for the Blind's website: www.aph.org. You can then E-mail us with your request right from their site. If you don't have access to the internet, you can call us to inquire about a book's availability.
Request a New Recording: If you are seeking the audio version of a book or other print material that is not available commercially or in another library, and you qualify for our client services, you can request that we record it for you by:
Completing the appropriate application and mailing it to us along with the book or materials you would like recorded and the correct recording fee(s). Please be sure to include the application (three pages), the request for recording form (one page) and the recording fee in check or money order form. All forms are available on the RFTB Applications and Forms link found on the Home Page of our website.
